Drag times Vs Power
Hey guys,
Is there a rough guide for what quarter miles times you should/could run for a power to weight ratio? eg, 200 horsepower(atw) per tonne gives you 14 second quarters 400 horsepower gives you 11 second quarter....(just an example) Cheers, Steve. |

Yeah there are a few online calculators that can work it out. I'll see if I can find them.
Edit: Sites like: http://www.turbofast.com.au/Drag.html http://www.hardcore50.com/members/calculators.htm They only give a rough indication though (as there are so many factors in a time). I'm sure a google of 'drag calculator' will yield some more.

as a rule, the more power you have, you should get a better time : )
This has been proven wrong though from time to time.....Something to do with the driver...
