Default towing capacity

ive done a search and found a few answers, also looked on carsales and redbook but not completely sure yet.

what is the towing capacity for a bugeye-onwards wrx ?

for those that own and tow with them at the moment, what have you towed succesfully/easily ?

i plan on towing a jetski, which with a trailer will end up around the 330kg mark. will a wrx pull it no worries ?

Cheers

i used to tow a single axle 8x5 trailer and my banshee with my 1.5 litre civic and that was fine.

I would say a wrx would be more then adequate to tow a trailer + jetski.

Had a look in my Bug log book & it says ...............
Turbo Sedan
MPW at towing 1,900kg
MPAW at towing 1,020kg
Fucked if I know what it means though.
also need to go by tow bar strength nut I doubt you'd have any troubles with Aus products.
Edit...Max 75kg vertical weight on tow ball.

insurance wont pay up if you have exceeded the towing capacity too...

on a side note - what jetski have you got? and do you run it near the narrows bridge?

Steve.

I tow my ski perfectly with the Foz, the 99 GX did it well too even for a 2ltr n/a.
