End of an Era

Well as of thursday afternoon the old girl (that I have owned for 14 years) is most likley no more.

This is what happens when a moron pulls out in front of you and you end up in a traffic light pole.

the pic of the snapped strut (Group 4) is on the left side that ran over the top of the other car.

At this stage it will be a financial write off.

Sad day and yes I am buying the wreck at this stage so there will be some good gear coming up for sale

Everyone OK? Unlucky man, at least you can replace a car even after 14 years :(

Denver 21-11-2008 04:39 PM

aww mannnn! , thats fixable scary, you know you wanna do it, is the motor ok, or did that cop a lot of the hit too?

scary 21-11-2008 04:46 PM

bent rail, broken 2 cam wheels, snapped suspension. It's definatley fixable but I haven't decided whether to repair/reshell or turn into dedicated weekend thrash car. It won't be returned to it's former glory at this stage as it will cost more than the car is valued at to repair.

I am very torn trust me, I have owned it for almost half my life so I am not suer what to do.

Maybe buy a new Liberty (tuned by Sti??) and put the long term plan back in place to finish it as a weekend weapon, neat and clean caged tarmac car

Reshell - its what I should of done to mine instead of cracking the shits and parting it out.

Youll regret not doing it!
