19x7.5 rim with 215/35 tyres using factory subaru offset and rolled rear guards, would be about as big as you would wanna go without it rubbing and not looking too homo. I have seen a few wth 20's but they look too big for the car imho.

legally though i thought you are only aloud 2" bigger or smaller than stock ...
