Colour code for Gold Rims
 

Ok I've found the thread on painting rims...

Does anyone know the colour code for the Gold STi Rims ?
Is it the same now as for the MY99 ? or has the Gold changed slightly.

I want to get the colour code so they look right and not some
off orange or worse.

When u take it to the place to get repainted (if your doing that), they'll match it up for you ne wayz, and they show you the colour before they do it :)

i believe if you contact cheating_gets _it_faster has the info

i think the code is dlux waw101

you can use that one or you can get the "import" brand gold from luigi's WA salvage....works good, real ghetto look...dont forget to do your front mount too (or the radiator if you still have a top mount)

Bad advise using that cheap paint next wash all comes off again. The proper way to do it is having the rims taken to a power coater and select the appropriate colors, that would last more or less forever. :icon_ramb

So which spray painters u guys recommend, seeing the crappy job alliance did is really badly flaking now, i'm gonna have to redo mine again.

Yeah my rims were repaired by Alliance, and the paint is flaking off bad. Fucking terrible!

it hell pissed me off, i paid like 600 for the repair and repaint
if they had of undercoated, the actual paint finish was quite good
