Your old WRX looked pretty nice. The high Kms on this 99 WRX would be something to watch out for. Fair enought there is a few items of fruit thrown in with the deal but the engine might pop when you install them. My 99 had high kms and died at 200K. Seems to be the going Km's to expect out of a EJ20. There are heaps of 99 WRX's for sale. Buy one with a blown engine and drop a EJ207 in it. Then it's time to play!!

There's an auto wrc blue one on car sales asking 15.9k i think, surely negotiate on that.

Has only 84k's on it. If you picked it up for 13/14k, the condition and history of the vehicle alone would warrant doing the box conversion and some simple mods. At least you won't be buying an unknown shitter that may end up costing considerably more than what you paid for it in the first place.

Bottom line is you're looking at 10 year old cars.

high kms isnt a huge issue, its the condition and service history you have to watch out for.
i would buy a standard wrx with 200,000kms on it over a 100,000kms car with mods on a standard engine....

Well looked at the my 99 wrx and was dissapointed and happy at the same time

good things were virtually new vf34 brand new fmic new xspower headers ceramic coated and the price

13k i would of got it for.....

dissapointed though coz it had had a new non genuine subaru front wing (it had had a smack at the front) and a full respray which was good just you could see it when you opened the doors and boot etc

so think i am gonna leve it...

cheers for rexxy03 looking at it with me
