Ok got some update pics. Front crossmember sorted, suspension and brakes, ran the wiring for the boost controller. Front glass is in, delayed somewhat as benny's beast was up and running today (patient man) but i envisage a finished car next week, just waiting for the engine to be fitted and then the rest of the bodywork can be fitted.

close..........

It is actually quite a cheap way to own an STI let alone a speccy edition.
I would only be guessing and I am probably way off but my guess would be somewhere in the mid to high $40k range when it is done.
Very tempting.. any way possible to do a S202 conversion on a bug eye ? LOL

25k++ to do so you reckon ?

Anyways.. nice S204 !!! would this finally be a stock STI EVO killer ?

Can't wait to see it rolling in the streets..

Are the original S204 rims in good enough condition to use Jamie?

Looking very nice.

2 from the car are salvageable, i bought another 3 via import monster which have some minor curb rash. All are being repaired and painted, so i'll have a full size spare .

One is my new hose reel, and one is for lack of a better word, fcuked!

cool project i must say and lightning speed...just out of interest, since the whole thing would have cost $50k+ and probably bit more than that, how's the insurance sorted on these type of conversions if you dont mind me asking?
