Yours is a 2.5 with taller 6spd gearing - different to a 2.0, 05STi 6spd. Apples & oranges.

I agree the twinscroll/tmic theory would be a nicer drive HOWEVER the goal is for 11's, correct?
Thus a decent 400hpish huffer, fmic for ease of boost (longevity), fuel to match and some decent boost. There is the deciding factor though, you wanna make the power you need to be loose with boost, 25psi+ or bust

I would go with a FMIC, you really need it to push boost through it, TMIC suffers imo.. Lag isnt much of an issue imo. People go on about lag but your never really going to feel it.
You will need a bigger turbo to get into the 11s imo.. I had a FPGreen, FMIC etc on 2004sti and just scraped in an 11.93... Its very hard to get from 12s to 11s and even harder to get into the 10s... ahaha
