Love the HD quality!!!!! Grab a wide angle lense, I use a universal spring loaded clip on unit and works fantastic, and well priced.

WASCC test and tune day?
Yes mate the HD is hard to beat. Yes WASCC tuning day.
Great video. Very clear with no vibration. How did you mount the camera ??
... and also what sort of camera was it ?
I am using a heavy duty Manfrotto clamp fixed to the cage

Camera is a Sanyo HD1000, it will shoot at 1080i but you get better footage in car using 720p. Straight out of the camera it is a fair bit clearer than whats on vimeo

Great vid there mate. Time for an upgrade methinks!!
Looked like an awesome day for it with a good variety of cars on the track.
Had too laugh at Mr Torrie driver also, I think he must have been looking at you in the rear view a bit too much ;)

Yes mate I've been guilty of that in the past (looking in the mirrors), tends to make you overdrive ;) not much could out brake the AP's

jEstEr? 07-06-2009 09:11 PM

"Someone" plugged 6V into the 5V socket, technician said it is actually 3.7V, socket on camera says 5V  anyway fried the mainboard inside $$$$$. Will now just take camera out to charge.
