Stroker Kits

Hi All,

Has anyone heard of or used these kits :-

Seems a fair price for Cosworth gear, how much should you budget for the install of the kit?

Just more ideas for the V4 build!!

Ask ASG what their price is?

ok GTB STI would love a kit like that I reckon but the owners CFO says otherwise.

I don't why companies such as cosworth, jun, hks etc claim that their stroker kits increase capacity to 2.2 litres. (79mm stroke, 92 mm bore)

because they don't.

92mm bore x 79 mm stroke = 2.100644 litres.

it is basic maths, not rocket science.

also that lovely light weight crank/semi counter weighted crank shown in the picture attached to the first post is not the crankshaft that you get it the $4900 "stroker kit".
as it says that you get a fully counter weighted crank.
It is most likely that it has a "prepped" standard 2.5 litre crankshaft (they are forged standard)

Yep, I agree, false advertising!!

I suppose you have to weigh up the difference an extra 0.100644 litres would make against the $$ spent.

By the way I do have the factory twin scroll dump you were chasing (just read my pm's)

cheers

ok, but if you don't completely disregard the volumes of the combustion chamber and you get get 2.2 litres
