MY02-MY04 STI's

Hey,

Just trying to get some information about the turbos these model subarus run std.

I see some 02 STI's have VF30's and others VF35's.

What turbos do 03/04 STI's run std?

Also with the 02 STI's can you tell from the VIN number the turbo it has?

Thanks
Mark

So if i was looking to purchase a 02 sti would there be any way of checking wether it has a vf30 or vf35?

yes, by popping the bonnet and looking at the turbo tag/engraving

would say either VF30 or VF35 :)
