because keeping it same year you can use every single joy s series bit and essentially have a really original looking fake s202

:iamwithst

I would go to the point of calling it a genuine S202 thats been rebuilt.. because the shells are absolutely identical (apart from the build plates of course!, and if you transfer every single part over, its spot on.

for fucks sake

splitting hairs much

thats what i fucking meant

I'd stick it all in a CJ Lancer.

No one would expect that!

auction has the right to remove early. Could be worth finding out what they want for it.

ha ha, pipe down!

I knew what you meant.. just breaking it down for the one-eyed GC8 fans :)

Strubaru 17-12-2009 02:28 PM

hahahaha just don't call me stupid then :pottytrai

...and i also saw a BMI episode where they indicated extra chassis ridgitity in a spec c model over an sti, specifically in the firewall/front strut area so the shells aren't technically same same throughout the same year

hope i'm not opening a can of worms here

Dont the S series get extra seam welding or any other chassis prep? And they run less noise dampening material too right?

sku81 17-12-2009 03:45 PM

I would just say ring Jase at all things subaru and ask him about it,that's what i did.

he wants under $20k from memory..PM him on ricenet(skippy)

Me, i would re body it and drive it.

body is lighter than std body also..but same welds and so on.
