Which Colour Rims
 

Hi All,

After some advice from the PWRX faithfull, these are the 2 colours :-

Gunmetal Gav but don't go the cheap rims if your planning on hammering

I may be a tad biased but gold on silver ftw...

The Rota's are okay, not gonna lash out for Advans or the like, plus these don't cause any scrubbing issues.

if you're going rota's you can buy two sets so you have spares when they BREAK!!! :D

I have the OEM gold Sti rims for the nasty driving stuff!!

Rotas are fine for street use. Keep them away from the track though.

Gold rims on a silver car is a bit like: blue & green - never to be seen :icon_puke:icon_oak::puke:

Gunmetal for sure.

Agreeing with the majority here and going gunmetal.
There wouldnt be much contrast with the silver and gold and make the overall effect of the car quite flat.

oooooh, i see your dilema!! tough one ehh. I think i'd have to go gun metal if it was me.

Yup, there are a few internet snaps of china rims snapped at the hubs.

These pics have done the rounds for a while now:
I'm not commenting on the quality as i have not experienced rota's myself
A few mates have them and have no complaints for street use

apparently the qaulity of rota has increased recently.

Wow! That is incredible! very scary!

alot of the evo's are running the rota's without any dilemma's so the quality has probably been improved

Gunmetal For Sure!

Gold on silver is SHIT. Worst colour combination I can think of. Saying that tho, it really only applies for the crappy gold the STI wheels come in. Muggz old car up there, and those rims are actually a decent colour, and look pretty good.

Still, I choose gunmetal.

black and silver is awesome they go well

but gold and silver is like red and pink DONT DO IT

gunmetal for sure, a lot more eyecatching :)

i think im going to get my gold rims on my silver gc8 sprayed gunmetal :)

+ 1 for gunmetal.

That said im going gold for mine :P but thats on a blue car.

give me Black rims or gun metal anyday...

Both colours look great on your car! But i think the gun metal rims look hot!!!!

You need to keep up with the times, Gav doesn't need new rims for
this car anymore as he's selling it due to buying a V 6 STi and already
buying gunmetal rims for it. :D
