2010 Tuned by Sti Liberty?????
Anyone know if such an example will be released this year?
I know there's a few salesmen here that might be able to answer? |
I ask the question again last week to the Sales Mgr at City Subaru...no word or suggestion of this happening from SOA he reckons.
|
there is the Exiga in Japan, so a template is there
|
my guy said its just like the Gen IV's, bolt on sti items and brembos in Melbourne and off they go but they are selling the Gen V's well and they are not sure that there is a justification for doing it again..ie the people who buying a Gen V aren't that fussed about bigger breaks and wheels.

Is that because they know they cant polish a turd? |
They tried with the Toyota Camry and look where it got them.
|
I was told a while ago by a Subaru engineer it is unlikely due to now having traction control and the expense of changing that based on different suspension and brakes is too great ($200,000) to justify 400 special cars.
Unless a collaboration with Japan occurs I think the Tuned by STI may just be pretty. |
