You all need to learn not to trust your fuel gauge!!! .. my MY96 always says it's nearly empty at 420-450km's .. but I fill it up and only get 45l in or so .. 15l in the tank ..
I get 530km's up to 550 from a 60l tank of U98 ... 13psi/3 turbo back/cold air duct to standard airbox in mostly urban driving and driving it reasonably spiritedly.
Ran a 13.9 the other night .. I think it can do about 13.7 with a better launch though.

why does evry1 use bp ultimate..? in accordance with one of my magazines shell optimax is the highest octane pump fuel rated at 98.5, where as bp ultimate is just at 98..? and shell is also cheaper =/

because bp ultimate is the only freely available 98 octane fuel in western australia. optimax and vortex98 are not currently available in western australia.

octane ratings can vary. but generally they are 98+.

I think you will find shell is only 95 or 96 over here...

im pretty sure shell has no 'optimax' at their servos. just PULP (which is 95).
