I would go the bugeye. Nicer interior (thats where you spend all your time) and I would put the sti headlights on and maybe a lip.

Or you could go all out and convert it to a peanut front.

Driving to work you will appreciate the extra refinement and interior and you wont notice the extra weight.

As has been already said mate, go with what you like. There's no point buying something that you're not going to enjoy as its not exactly a purchase where you can take it back for a refund.

A little patience will allow you to find an older model WRX that will be in the same condition or better then the newer model.

ive got both in stis both have pros and cons gc8 is lighter nicer to the eye but getting hard to find good examples now bug eyes heavier car built better and still get some good examples for 20k or under horses for corses i would go the bug eye
