Replacing keys

I bought my subaru liberty B4 with only 1 set of keys thinking it will be fine.....

until I get my keys ganked from my rugby club along with my bag.

Is the only way to get another key cut/coded from the dealers or is there a cheaper way?

I am looking for the cheapest way possible to get another set of keys!

Thanks.

Give A1 Locksmiths a try, my work place tends to use them quite alot in cases where we need a key for vehicles with no key.

edit: They can come out to you also.

Just google them, should be easy to find and ask for a quote

Think it can only be done at Subaru. Since yours is probably encoded like the WRX keys, you be lookin at somewhere from $200-400

A1 Locksmiths have been know to make current model Mercedes and BMW keys, which requires the key to be programed/coded for the vehicle.

By the way, I don't work for them I work at ManheimFowles in Perth :)

"Specialising in automotive keys, A1 Locksmiths pride themselves on being one of the few Locksmiths in Perth who can provide Transponder and Electronic keys which many newer model vehicles use."

My father has been using these guys for years, great to deal with!

Note: When it comes to the replacement of vehicle keys we are obliged to go factory 'which we always have'. Regarding coding and cutting we have no hesitation recommending this service.

Wow, they told me $600 for my Betty which they sold me with one key (demo). I insisted that they order me a spare, and that I was not paying for a key that they misplaced!

thought it was a little strange haha, no clue how it would of managed to get it's self up there.
