Sorry to hear mate, but glad you're ok!

Best of luck with the insurance claim... wishful thinking but I hope it's not a write off, it sucks to see one less V6 STi on the roads

Sad to see but as long as the chassis rails arent bent then there is a chance they will rebuild it.. was there much damage to cam wheel covers?

Damn I hate to see white GC8's all broken , glad you are OK though and more importantly the idiot didn't kill himself and have you being dragged through an unneccesary investigation.

Looks like a complete new front end inc. all supports and possibly motor + 2 new airbags and associated gear so I don't like your chances of ever getting it on the road again but never fear! Buy the wreck back, fix what needs fixing and put a cage in it. Silver lining and all that. All you need then is a tow vehicle and any old SR5 Hilux will do that easily

Still, fingers crossed they can repair her for you. Best of luck.

Sorry to see that. Only positive is because you were in a Subaru your ok.
You should be fine with insurance because you have a witness. Just hope they give you appropriate $$.
Have you been to a hospital to be assessed yourself?
The police/hospital should be able to give you the number for the insurance comission that deals with personal injury (neck etc). It wont cost you anything. Thats why we pay registration fees.
You should be assessed within 24hrs even if you feel ok just to cover yourself.
Hope todays a better day for you.

Considering the fact its dual front airbags, there will be a high cost associated to replacement cost of that plus associated parts 'seatbelts, dashboard, steering column, seat rails, sensors etc, let alone the damage sustained to the front end.

She's unfortunately cactus.

Ambo's were on the scene fast, so were police and fire. Car could have caught fire. It was a white holden rodeo ute, driven by a 60yo. I hope insurance coughs up, been to the quack and said come back in a few days to see how you feel then. Airbags were up and down before i got a chance to notice lol. if i never bought a subi and still had my old vk, id be in hospital for sure

Sorry to see this, main part of it all is that you are ok.
