The earlier years when they used the larger circuit incorporating Riverside Drive was the best ever layout. The top drivers like Kankkunen would slide the back wheels up onto the kerb precisely as they exited the gravel onto the tar!

JME, get a vacant block of land on the outskirts and build it, they will come!
(maybe not Kankkunen, but someone will, I promise)

didn't Tolley Challis replicate this as one of the courses he had built at his rally school facility near Baker's Hill?

Lol holy crap, I took my dad up there for that, only now have i made the connection.
It looks similar, but its a small miniaturised version of it I think

He did a pretty good job of it, but wasn't really a replica as such. He ran rallysprints there for a while but I think insurance and CAMS hassles put an end to it.
