Chasing info on this car

The mrs is looking at buying a GC8 as a daily and was looking at this:

Price is not as crackpipe as most for what it is but wondering if there is a reason behind it.

Not keen if it is an insurance buyback after the floods or something like that. Can anyone share some light on this car? Has it had the guts flogged out of it or been bent? Dont want to go wasting the blokes time if its no good.

Any info would be appreciated.

looks to have got some hail damage.

its a p platers wrx so you know its been thrashed hard

Was going to say it's had a respray for sure, but then the interior looks exceptionally clean too except for the gay fake checker plate mats which are obviously easy to f-off. There seems to be no chips or anything inside the bonnet scoop which makes me think it's just had a respray at the least, been debadged too so probably all was done at the same time. Overall very clean looking and worth taking a look at but most definitely would be having the mechanicals and body checked over by experts to make sure it hasn't just been in a major smash or is flogged to near death.

As magic1 said, hail damage to at least the right rear c-pillar.

Riggs, get Doug from STechnic to check it over for you.

We all know how nice a clean and coat of polish can make a car look ;)

Yeah Tris I saw the dents, thats what made me swing the hail damage/insurance buyback line.

I'll just have to have a look, will be taking it to Doug if all seems well.
