Default Wrx stolen!

Ok as some of you know I bought a lemon 2001 wrx and had to replace the engine last month. Last night between 12-2am two people broke into the house me and my gf are house sitting and stole my wallet containing 700$, my iPhone, my brand new Sony vaio laptop and worst of all... My wrx which was parked right outside my window right up the drive. The cars been found by police dumped in armadale, tyres and clutch fried. Keys still missing.

So, how do I go about new keys with the central locking ect? Price?

Any info on clutch price/installed?

Any info on these thieving bastards?

Was taken from gosnells. So guys, protect your shit.

Sad to hear there are pricks like that out there.

New clutch is ~$1-1.5k depending where & what type.

To get a new key you just need to supply the VIN to a Subaru dealership. They can get it cut from that. Also, if you buy a new key and get it coded, the other, stolen keys wont start the car, or unlock it with central locking. But they will still fit the barrel and door locks. I would suggest buying a new lock set from Subaru, includes ignition barrel and lock, door lock, and boot lock, plus 2 keys. Probably $1500.00 plus fitting and coding, but the best way to make sure those lowlifes cant get into your car.

This changes all keys and locks to a different cut

Sorry to hear about that - Didn't you hear anything? Most people are usually up between 12-2am at this time of year so pretty keen for those guys to get in there and steal your stuff.

Gozzy is a well known suburb for crims, drug labs, gangs, organised crime, rapes, murders, wifebashing etc etc. Drive through with your windows up and doors locked.

Ouch, the term "drive it like you stole it" comes to mind and that ain't a good thing with a new engine. I'd be looking for a way to never touch that car again :/

Best of luck.
