NRG hood dampers or Teins hood dampers
look online for cheapest place and buy/import :) |
i've seen kits on ebay
|
eBaY about $84 from memory, look really good & you can still open bonner fully I think, thinking of trying to make a set myself. He used to sell them under Subaru parts.
|
iv seen them on ebay for other cars..
im sure if we could just get a couple we can install our selfs no need for a special kit ?? i could be wrong though.. |

The ones I've seen on eBaY for subarus have only one strut & have an alloy block on the bonnet which the strut fits to & uses existing holes so no drilling. the ones you have found are different to the earlier ones advertised & this guys buy it now price for a subaru kit is $145, look under subaru parts.

I'm sure that any good aftermarket struts could be made to fit without an engineer's degree. A pair of struts to fit a Commodore wagon rear gate cost around $50 when I got them a few years back.
