Just looking through the STi jp site and the latest news is they've released a new 4pot brake kit for the GB/GR models.

These are basically the same as the RA-R, S402 and R205 6pots in silver with STi logo but come in 4pot instead of 6, the R205 had these 4pots on the rears and looked hawt.

So now all the betty owners and others who can afford these and are keen to upgrade brakes and have something different can get these beauties.

The RA-R 6pot fronts retail for between $6500-7500 dependant on where you look. ( Can be bought cheaper though ;D )

These 4pots rears at retail cost $5,085. :0

Comprises of x2 slotted rotors, x2 STi braided brake lines, x2 STi performance pads and of course x2 4pot calipers.

Looks pretty. But how are they any better than the gold brembo fronts? And cost about 3.5grand more than a good second hand set of gold brembo fronts, which is about the cost of a full coilover suspension package, swaybars etc .. worth it?

Apparently they have a larger stopping surface area than the normal 4pot brembos and have similar stopping effectiveness to the 6pots ones but with less pots so id say they would be slightly lighter too then.

Also its basically the same price as a new set of the normal 2pot gold/black ones, not ideal price for those wanting to do it cheap but these might just make their way onto the 2012 Oz STi's if were lucky.

Worth it to people that would be interested in these and have the cash,? yes of course.

I put this up to show people what was new and not whether they were worth it over other mods or not.
