Hey folks,

A friend has a 2001 bugeye which has a busted Clutch and grinding gears, and he is thinking about importing a half cut and stripping some parts from a Jap STI. I know there are a few guys on here that have done this, so i would appreciate some pointers of where to look to buy the half-cut, including getting it shipped to Perth. Ideally he is looking to drop the clutch/box and possibly the engine into his chassis, and then strip the remaining parts and sell them on.

He's a mechanic by trade, and has his own workshop so he's pretty keen for a project. Any info would be awesome,

expect to pay around 12k landed for low km JDM STI bugeye complete driveline/brembo's/loom/dash etc etc, my mate recently did this to his 01 foz & was very happy with kris importing it for him
