Hey,

I have to take my car over the pits on Thursday or Friday, and need to find a standard air, my pod filter is making too much noise, does anyone have one I can buy or know where i can get one from?

I have the full box from my MY99 if its the same you can borrow it mate

i recently have just been over the pits, and they questioned my blow off valve, which i then told them that i dont have a BOV and said its the pod and that they all do that. he went and asked the head guy and said that it is normal and fine. just make sure your pid dosnt move around and is secure.

That is the same problem that i am having, my defect notice says BOV must be silent, but the BOV i have is standard. My machanic said it's the pod filter making the "psshhh" noise not the BOV. I've been told that if i put standard air box back on it should make it quiter. Does anyone agree?

I got a yellow sticker and one of the points was the BOV was to loud.
I got the sticker off with the std BOV venting to air (with a filter on) and a 6inch pod filter, paid for the permit and wasn't a dickhead to the inspector so no hassles. It's all about attitude
