Does anyone know this car.
 

Just chasing some info for a mate, does anyone know who owned a 2005 WR blue WRX. The plate on it at the moment is 1DON 789.

Apparently it has been built and serviced by Maximums and has around 400hp.

My mate is looking at buying it and the info he is getting is a little vague, they don't have any info on what has been done to it.

They are asking $29,000 sounds a little high, its on carsales at the moment if anyone has any info could they please let me know.

honestly with that kind of money i would buy an sti, unless mms can verify their work on the car

My thoughts too.....but an STI.

Tried the maximum idea, apparently you need the last name of previous owner so they can get the info.

Just go check the car out tomorrow at LynFord and ask for all receipts

With that much power wouldn't you want forged internals also....that was what I was thinking. Correct me if im wrong.

I would want to see a legit Dyno print out to see its so called 400HP.

I would seriously doubt it would even have 300HP at the Fly Wheel let alone 400HP at the wheels.

Plates sound like they have been recently issued.

Call up the dealer, dealer should have all the reports and reciepts if its legit.. If the dealer doesnt, its pritty much worthless/not worth it.

Dude it's in Challenger Ford...Rockingham....but agreed...way too expensive....

way to expensive & i highly doubt 400hp....

Probably moved it on, I remember seeing this car at Lynford a while back (mid last year) when I went to test drive a blue 06 STI which had been tuned by mms...which was also labelled as having new tyres (which meant 3 used re070's and 1 new bob jane xenon :rolleyes:)

Ahhh ok....

When i was looking for a car...i remember checking out a couple of cars that i happened to see whilst at the dealerships doing work....

Speaking to the sales guys you hear all sorts of funny stuff...like "it's even got the blow off for increased power" etc etc....

Gets slightly annoying when you call to ask if that 05 sti in the lot with tbe has been tuned and they have no idea....argh dealerships....

ive just installed a Hyperflow front mount and CAI so i should b looking at over 500 then.....

Over 400 Grams of crack for his pipe....

1k/Per gram - 400/1k = 400k. I wish i had that kinda money making scheme... Just offer him a 1kg bag of MsM powder. He won't know till he tokes, WIN WIN!

I told him the dealership was full of shit for that price.

Hey Mikka welcome to the party.....its still not an STI mate. Haha catch up soon.

i sold mt MY04 wrx with ligid 300hp and receipts to prove it for $23k, and only 90000kms, he can deffinatley find a better deal,

but maybe that body kit gives him extra hp, who knows these days

Word of advice for your mate, I bought my beast from Lynford, they were quite shady.. Good outcome in the end but very shifty to deal with. Dbl check and then check again!
