Default Hatch or Sedan?

Hi everyone,

My name is Victor and I am a newbie. I am planning to get an STI (09 or 10) and want to know if I should get a hatch or sedan.

I personally prefer the hatch, as it looks more muscular for me. Plus, this is going to daily/work car hence want to choose STI over Evo X.

Any inputs welcome.

Thanks.

Agreed, as you said yourself, you prefer the hatch. Its the same car, just different body shape. You're the one forking the cash, and more importantly, you're the one who's driving it =P

I would get the sedan is you don't need fold down seat or carrying kids in baby seats around.

Hatch 1
Sedan 3 :P

Nice.

Also, I was thinking about the future as well. I am married and planning for a family in the next couple of years. One time I had a chat with Subaru salesman at Vic park branch, he showed me that a sedan is better for child seat as its anchor points are at the back of rear seat unlike the hatch.

09/10 STi is hatch only anyway? You would need to go to an MY11 to get the sedan?

I was considering the STi hatch, and would probably have bought one for the right price, but there are next to none available in the 2nd hand market at the moment(at a reasonable price anyway)...

For the record, I am buying a daily, and have a baby seat... Still buying an Evo tho...
