I've never looked for anything besides manual GC8s before so what is there to know about the auto MY05?

I can't seem to find any reference to this model being in Obsidian Black so I'm worried it's been resprayed. Anyone know?

I thought they only came in Champagne Gold from the factory.
It doesn't have the CSE8 decals on it by the looks.

I could be wrong.

If it has had a respray, that isnt necessarily a bad thing. I would just enquire with the seller.

Looks like MY05 WRX never came in auto so it's certainly a cse8. Plus it has a sunroof which is not usually installed aftermarket.

The club spec evos had leather trim and sunroof stock

I had an auto gc8 as a daily could not fault for it was a very reliable car - auto boxes are stronger than 5speed ?

Owner has just claimed it's factory black. Hmm...

Club Spec Evo 8's came in Obsidian Black, Champagne Gold and Crystal Grey. All Available in Auto.

Also The 4AET Transmissions are fairly strong, the main and only thing that will kill them is heat.

I defiantly recommend putting a tranny cooler on it
