Ok since I am already embarrassed, how about OEM? What about all the ones starting with J (JDM etc etc)?

Original Equipment Manufacturer - ie, original item built by subaru(Manufacurer) and not an aftermarket or other brand piece.

Japanese Domestic Market - Japense cars basically

OEM = original equipment manufacturer
pretty much just means whatever the car came with when it came out of the factory. so an OEM replacement pretty much means replacing whatever it is with parts that are the same (or designed to be the same as factory equipment by other manufacturers) as factory.

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market or Japanese Domestic Model
pretty much means said car or equipment is different from our local models (AUDM). said differences could be different turbo, single scroll vs twin scrolls, different internals, different cluster...etc

I am also a noob so whatever I wrote up there could be wrong.

Then we should define ADM meaning Australian Domestic Market and USDM is United States etcetera ...

MAF - Mass Air Flow
MAP - Manifold Absolute Pressure
TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
AFR - Air Fuel Ratio
BSFC - Break Specific Fuel Consumption
VE - Volumetric Efficiency
AVCS - Active Valve Control System
IAT - Intake Air Temperature
EGT - Exhaust Gas Temperature
ECT - Engine Coolant Temperature

I didn't know any of these so I hope this helps someone out.

JDM generally refers to cars that are grey imports, parts/options that are oem but for the Japanese released models or Japanese aftermarket parts like HKS, Apexi etc.

The term is often skewed by certain modifiers claiming their mods are JDM when they are generally just slapping stickers on or copying modification styles that originated in Japan i.e. sticker bombing.
