They've already split the models, so thats old news. Just waiting for the new Impreza.
And then, at some stage, the new WRX and STI.
I would love to think they would build a car just to conform with WRC car regs, and the article certainly makes it seem like that may be the case, But it seems like a massive investment just for that purpose.
It would definitely make the fans happy, including me.

I don't know how many of you in here are familiar with the Rambler Gremlin.

It was essentially a Rambler Hornet cut in half and with a shorter wheelbase, and it looked like it. A car that was cut in half and had a rear axle way forward of where it should be.....it just wasn't balanced.

This is not that bad but it certainly reminds me of that old car.

I like it if it makes a distinct separation between the impreza and wrx/sti models.


Just throwing this out there - subi's version of the ft86, is where our new wrx/sti model could come from?
