Speeding Ticket- Warning To All

1 Attachment(s)
I am sure most of you are aware of these things but for those who arent here is a warning.

I got this in the post on Friday. As you can see they can now set up the cameras on the OTHER side of the road and get a nice picture of you from behind as you drive past and you have no idea it has happen till you go to your post box. I had no idea it was there and it must have been tucked away in a nice liitle hidey spot. They are sneaky F*#KS

I guess they get a double whammy out this too because they probably get the cars coming towards the camera at the same time. The one camera covering both sides of the road for on coming and opposing traffic.

Be carefull out there guys.

Got one similar to this a week or so ago, was a shock when I got the fine in the letter box. Luckily this fine probably saved your life...

Can they have obstructions in the picture? i thought it had to be perfectly clear... i know the number plate is... but i thought the whole lot had to be clear.

Anyone know?

Did you get flashed on Plain st, East Perth?

MKVIGTI 22-08-2011 11:36 AM

I'd be inclined to get some legal advice on that one as there is the potential for the post to have interfered with the reading. More than likely it was all hunky dory, reading taken before the line of sight of the post but if there is any doubt surely the fine cannot stand.

Remember it will have an effect on your insurance if you choose to pay it.

Cruise control is your friend!!!
hmmmm, maybe don't speed?
I could understand your comment if it was excessive but alleged 67 in a 60  and I am not moaning about it, just making people aware. Although technically still speeding though obviously.Wasnt speeding intentionally and especially not through where this was, known area for cameras so I only have myself to blame, must have just crept over without realising as can happen.

No it was south of Armadale

Not just my life but other peoples. My excessive speed and reckless driving had me sitting in a dark room all week end and unable to face the world without feeling the shame and guilt of driving so fast with no consideration for other road users. I hang my head in shame ok. Dont know how i can live with myself :icon_hang:
