For a relatively small automaker, [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/subaru"]Subaru[/URL] sure does have some big plans for this year's [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/frankfurt-auto-show/"]Frankfurt Motor Show[/URL]. Not only is it showing a "technology concept" to preview the [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/brz"]BRZ[/URL] rear-drive coupe it's developing with [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/toyota"]Toyota[/URL], but the Japanese automaker is also set to unveil the XV crossover there, as well.

Previewed by the [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/2011/04/19/subaru-xv-concept-crossover-unveiled-in-shanghai/"]XV concept unveiled in Shanghai[/URL] a few months ago and the [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/2011/08/09/subaru-teases-xv-crossover-ahead-of-frankfurt/"]rudimentary sketch[/URL] from earlier in August, the new crossover is essentially a high-riding [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/subaru/impreza/"]Impreza[/URL] that's a further extension of the Outback Sport. Considering how [I]imprezive[/I] that vehicle can be - particularly in [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/subaru/wrx/"]WRX[/URL] or [URL="http://www.autoblog.com/subaru/wrx+sti/"]STi[/URL] trim - that could prove a good thing. We'll reserve judgement until the vehicle's unveiling, but in the meantime Fuji Heavy has hit us with the teaser image above to keep our interests piqued.
