Default Need Advices, steering shutters

For all the Subaru Gurus

Ever since i got my car back from the workshop, the steering wheel shakes vigorously when the turbo kicks in. It sort of feels like the tyres have no grip at all.

Tyre spec is Yokoham Advan A048 brand new.
Stock Arai damper suspension and height

I've asked on IWSTI and NASIOC, they recommended to change the engine mounts to RUBBER. As the factory 2005 spec c liquid-filled plastic mounts had issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Assuming you have a bigger dump pipe then get under the vehicle and see if the steering knuckle is fouling the dump pipe. If it's the same issue as on mine, high torque (on boost) causes the engine to twist on the mounts and the dump pipe then fouls the steering knuckle and causes the vibration (being engine vibration being transferred up the steering column).

If this is the case then either modify the dump to not foul AND/OR get stiffer engine mounts. My understanding is that Spec C mounts are solid not liquid filled plastic.

Thanks mate ill have a look at the dump pipe and steering knuckle to see if theres any signs of them vibrating against each other
