Depends what grade of China rad you got - I know when I was conversing with ling long zui, they did 3 grades. You would want to avoid the cheap one like the plague.

Its only when I give it an extended thrashing that I notice a difference. OEM rad would start to get pretty warm. Up around the 95-100C area. But alloy rad keeps things staying around 88-92.

Under normal driving my Power FC will read between 96 and 103... I don't know if its a dodgy reading? I know the dash temp gauge is designed to never moves from its "normal" position as long as it is within a certain temp range range.

I remember Doug saying something about the Power FCs possibly having a higher than normal reading?? but yours appears to be right.

I have a Defi Gauge for water temps too. my sensor is all good. Reads the same as the defi gauge. Though they have a lag between the two of a few seconds.

You can replace your water temp sensor with a new one to get the right readings.

I have a defi sensor located in the driver's side end tank (as well as the stock sensor in the water transfer pipe for the PFC/temp gauge)

Engine stays between 88-92 like Ludwigs on the pfc hand piece.
The defi in the end tank is always around 80 c when driving on the street. The highest I've seen on the defi is 94c (96c at the engine/Pfc), after prolonged runs on the dyno (heat soak).

I expect my two readings to be different due to the two different sensor locations.

My china spec ally rad is about 4 years old now & still going strong.

ASI does good gear, I have their Silicone radiator & header hose kit on my car along with their Silicone intake, everything fits as per factory & the quality is very good.
