Latest EVO mag to hit Aus newsagents has a big story on the BRZ, including a comparo with a GC8. Haven't read the articles yet but sounds like they don't rate the BRZ very highly

I heard, through the grapevine, that Subaru are only bringing 200 into Aus initially, and I heard, that they're all sold already.
I doubt its going to be a volume seller for Subaru, I mean, they build the whole car for Toyota, so they get payed anyway, and they wont want to step on any toes.
This is just what I've heard.
But, pricing should be mid 30's
Theres a bit of info on the Subaru Aus website now.

Taken from Facecooked:

Editor of Fast Fours & Rotaries Magazine and part of the PG team Ryan Lewis has just come through with the inside scoop from the launch of the new 86 with Toyota Australia the GT model will start from $29,990, with the GTS beginning at $35,490. This is fantastic news, the affordable FR sports car is back!

From today's The Age:

"Part of that is because of its price. With a razor-sharp starting point of $29,990 for the entry-level GT and $35,490 for the top-end GTS..."

Changes in the interior is the only differ I've read.

GTS gets leather/alcantara trim/red stitching on the seats and dashboard also gets a 6.1-inch media/satellite navigation and stereo controls.

GTS geys the rimless rear-view mirror and the keyless start, also flappy paddles if you choice auto (not in the GT)
