Settle a STI dispute for me please!
 

Hi all, New perthwrx forumer :) New sti owner!

Can you all please weigh in and help me out here, Settle a dispute between me and the GF.

I'm under the impression STI only ever [B]built [/B]imprezas, but she seems to think that they do / did libertys (legacys) too (Not talking just AUS here). As far as I know STI released a limited series of libertys tuned by them, but never actually built anything other than Imprezas. Sure people can whack on a STI badge, paint their brakes gold and [I]throw a STI engine in[/I], but lol - doesn't make it an STI.
Who's right?

Your GF is likely referencing the Legacy S401 or S402.

Legacy RS/RA's were the first "STI".
