Rim offset question for the GC8 guys
Guys I have the option of 17" rims with a +55 offset or a +48 offset (I am pretty sure the stock wheels for a VI Sti are +53)
I was wondering what you guys think would look better and if either would have any clearance issues with the stock 4 pots? Cheers |
Pretty certain if you're lowering the offset, you're moving the rim away from the caliper. This is always somewhat dependant on the design of the spokes etc, however I would make a guesstimate to say the +55's won't clear, and the +48's will (Going on the assumption the stock rims are +53)
On most WRX's the stock offset is pretty close to the calipers afaik. Someone correct me if I am wrong here .. |
Go the +48, the +55 will look ghey.

My track rims are +48 and fit fine over the 4pots.

Thanks fellas you saved me a lot of hassle

On this topic, does anyone have a picture of how a 17x7.5 +50 sits on a GC8?
