Removing 05 STI Spoiler - Help!
 

I am in the middle of removing my spoiler so that I can replace the foam seals that sit between the boot and the bottom of the spoiler. Some of the seals are starting to come out and need replacing.

I have undone the 10 nuts inside the boot lid but when I try to seperate the spoiler it still feels like there is something that is holding it on. I dont know if it just needs a good pull to break the seal or if there are more bolts or whatever that are holding it?? I dont want to pull it to hard and cause any damage.

It does require a bit of a pull as there are two plastic clips as well look under the boot lid maybe you can find them but I just pulled mine straight off be carefull though or you may bend the boot lid. Good luck also disconnect the third brake light so you don't damage the spoiler accidentally when you pull it out ; )

I found 2 more nuts hiding under the bump stops on either side of the boot lid :):)
