typical ACA incompetence

hopeless......
I wonder how many viewers from the ACA audience can see the fleece getting pulled over their eyes or just take it as absolute truth.

Wonder how many people managed to get through that inspection point without getting pulled over (cars with bald tyres, worn out suspension, etc).
Then again, the police may have only pulled over the most obvious cars, I could be wrong...

Brett Allan 24-01-2012 08:43 PM

That MUST have been targeted, for a cruise or something, there is no way that they simply managed to go out around the area of a vehicle inspection center and simply "find" all those cars.....

and yet people believe everything the media says.....

"varex sneaky technology" amazing the extent they go to.....to purchase a readily affordable exhaust on the market with the ability to adjust the volume....Mao has them on special!

makes you wonder.....

That last bit was just a little rich... "if you have an issue with 'car enthusiasts' blah blah shit talk."

Rossco 24-01-2012 09:27 PM

Lol at varex......pretty much all current BMW's & other euro's have them as standard.

[MARZS] 24-01-2012 09:37 PM

how does aca actually get away with this sort of ridiculous type of segment???

The sad part is that people in society actually do take what is being said as gospel, and in this case it puts a blanket label on a car enthusiast being a hoon, and automatically having a un-roadworthy car.

POOR JOURNALISM!!

Over east, I thought the DB was only 94db for legal. The cops could only bust you (yellow sticker) if it was not an exhaust with ADR compliance, with plate with db reading at 4500 rpm. It was the EPA that could impound vehicle for "noise pollution" when they tested the exhaust note.

There test was often wrong and could take to court and get off.

Needed to be done in an enclosed area - not the side of the road- and set up correctly so take photos.

Haven't seen it here in Perth, yet.

(PS the bike read 124db)
