Downgrading sound system
 

Hey, just curious what sound system people put in when they had a decent system but downgrading it to sell. Im looking for ideas of what system sounds good as i want mine to be at least half decent for any potential buyer. It currently has a $10k system in it nw, and for the price im selling it for, no way is it going with it.

So ideas please :)
il start with my proposal
Headunit: sony cdx-600ui
Front: 6" jvc components
Rears: same as front
Sub: jvc drvn
Amp: jvc drv 800w rms

Please no replies about using my oem speakers as i dont have them....they met the end of a hammer as soon as they were out the car.

If you are selling the car

120 dollar pioneer/jvc headunit

70 dollar fronts

70 dollar rears

Any brand preference teejay??

What im trying to get at is, A $70 set of sonys might sound like shit compared to a pioneer set for the same price.. That why i was hunting for expeienced brand preference.

But that is a good budget there ill try stick to that.

id just go something like clarion speakers if you dont want to put the ass end of speakers in there. My rex had them in there as stock so you'd be going back to normal.

Otherwise pioneer is always good value for money.

Why put more money into a car that your selling. If it was my car, the cheaper the better.
Let the buyer sort out his own sound system.

Don't worry about an amp and a sub.

lol, you can't use cheap audio gear as a selling point. A selling point would be the current system, not a $500 replacement.

Jaycar make good cheap speakers.. 6" coax Kevlar speakers for $90. Ran some in a previous car, good value for money.
