got some rims that are painted over with and manage to scratch some of and underneath is stock paint.

So any suggestion for a easier way as its easy to chip of a bit and wasnt primered or sanded down when they painted it:D

cos want stock colour back with out respraying it

sand blast them, or acid etch them.

either way- cheaper to probably find other wheels.

If they were originally 2 pack and were painted in acrylic you could try a high pressure water washer, it worked on some painted dash parts on a car I bought.

A basic one is $99 odd - I couldn't imagine anyone else doing 4 rims for less.
