Help on some mods

G'day All.
I would like some ideas on some mods. I would like to upgrade to a bigger turbo. I have some prices from two different companies, what is the best mod. I already have the Ecotec 2.
Maximum
vf34 fitted $1995
tune $330 maximum said nothing about injectors
process west top mount $1090
Allstar
vf34 fitted $1700
tune $990
injectors $440 Allstar said nothing about top mount
I'm also changing the Brant for the Auto watch from Westside Cannington,$730. Does this sound like its a good price?
(ps I hope I'm not out of order here)
Cheers Steve (Bullet59)

WestSide Cannington is GREAT, I know a guy who works there and have had both my past and present cars looked after by them 10/10.

BOTH workshops are great and you would struggle to find any real complaints against either.

Engine wise... the stock injectors are pretty good for entry level mods but the intercooler is not the best for anything bigger then the TD04. It just lacks the volume to take more boost.

A perfect compramise would be:
VF34
Injectors (to give you room for the future)
STI intercooler ($400 approx and as good as Process West TMIC)
Tune

Seeing as you can buy a new VF34 for about $1400.00, seems a lot to fit, it aint rocket science to fit a turbo, even look for a good 2nd hand one.

PW top mount if fitted is close to the money, but as mentioned many times on here, get a Sti top mount, about $500.00 for a good 2nd hand one.

The rest seems okay, I gather the Allstar price is for the Verso tune.

cheers

Cheers thanks should I get a STI top mont before the tune or it doesn,t make any diff

Do it once, do it right.

Get the parts you want then tune it, so you don't run the risk of messing the tune up and damaging your engine when you add new parts into the mix.

I paid around that for the premium pack + keyfob pin code immobiliser installed there. No Brant removal though, so that would have made life easy for them :p

I was the sales manger at the Cannington store for ~ 3 years. "Westside" are fantastic. Can't go wrong with them.
