Brant system in B4
 

Hey guys, Ive just attempted to install a new stereo in my B4, and after installing it, My Keyless entry (lock and unlock) is not working and my key wont immobilize, so alarm is going off as soon as i connect the battery.

Any tips?

I found it was a Broken fuse in engine bay fuse box called "clock room"
Now car locks and unlocks, but brant system seems to be un needed? i am not putting in any codes and the car will always start after i press unlock on the key... weird

You'll probably find it is in valet mode, from memory the number 9 is highlighted while in valet. Should give you 9 free starts without needing the code entered.

Make sure you know/have access to the master code, you'll need it soon.

somebody didnt disconnect their battery when wiring in a new stereo...
