Hello members,

I have a friend who is the manager of fleet and corporate sales at City Subaru in Victoria Park. His name is Chris Tidy.

I have had some discussions with Chris lately regarding my association with Perth WRX and whether he may be able to provide discounts to the members of Perth WRX. Those discussions have led to City Subaru offering the following to our members:

My understanding is that you'll initially have to speak to Chris.

Or call Brad in service hes usually really accomodating with parts and the likes ;)

Philbo - the trade pricing for members, at this stage, needs to be initially organised via Chris Tidy.

When did James leave? Just shows its been awhile since I was there! He was very accommodating to me as was his predecessor who looked after me extremely well with my Lib!!

The guys are great there Greg, Rhys and Brad especially.I wouldn't go anywhere else! Bought my WRX there and will keep bringing it there as I am always well looked after :)

As stated earlier, I believe that Chris Tidy is acting as the go-between to ensure that issues such as this don't occur.

Tbh, why does one person at a dealership have to be the 'go to' guy to smooth these things out or make them not happen.

Surely a dealership should have customer service and satisfaction as their number one priority in all departments?

I spoke to Chris first, then went through Rhys the parts manager and got a great deal off some parts I ordered. Can't expect them to bend over backwards, after all this club has several thousand members, many of whom are parasitic and just here for the offers/ability to sell their car.

Not that you ate one of them Mr B32, but the thread did specify what needed to be done.

Doesn't stop it from being ridiculous.... I understand when they charge it to dispose of oil/brake fluid/coolant safely etc. But a sway bar link? Nigga please!

b32 - they replaced an end-link even though you have changed the swaybars to aftermarket items? That's fairly generous of them in my opinion. I would have thought that would be perfect grounds for them to deny a waranty claim on them.

Just to let you guys know, Rhys in spare parts is aware of the perth-wrx discount. Just went in to get a quote on a new bumper and purchase a new sun visor. Mentioned the discount offer and was all good.

Emailed Chris Tidy today and was offered a significant discount. Huge thanks to Chris and Craig Hutchinson.

I have met Chris several times with Brooking and Melville Mazda, he's a great guy and a credit to City Subaru.

Nice to have a pleasant Subaru experience after dealing with Subaru Wangara.

Ended up being even cheaper, huge thanks to Chris/Craig.

No, Craig's name was the first on the list on Post#1 and as the Service Manager I thought he'd be aware of it. It's no biggie as Craig said "it must be something Chris has done" and wrote a note on the booking form about the Perth-WRX offer.

Have spoken to Chris Tidy. He has spoken to Craig.

Problem solved.

Had a few transactions with Rhys there. Good bloke, great help. Will definitely keep this offer in mind for next time I need something.
