Default TMIC replacement advice

Hi All,

I'm looking at replacing the TMIC on my 2006 CS9.

I am looking at either getting a 06 STI TMIC or a Process West TMIC.

I have been doing some reading and I can't find any proof as to which is better

Has anyone had any experience with which is better?

Cheers.

None is better. Both perform as well as each other.

I prefer the OEM fit of the STi unit.
Strubaru, mARC and MY00GC8 like this.

You could get a GRB (08+) STI intercooler. Even bigger than GDB STI and process west TMIC. And still cheaper than buying a new Process West TMIC. They are just a little harder to find.

And once again... OEM look and fitment.

The STi intercooler is still press sealed though compared to the nicely welded PW intercooler.

So the STI is more visually pleasing and it looks bog stock.... and the PW is just welded?

no the sti cooler looks stock(less hassel if police go snooping under the bonnet). process west is alot thicker and shiney. as most of the guys have said sti is cheaper and does as good a job as a process west for less money
