It's just another method to reflash the stock ecu. Stick with the OpenECU or ECUTek in Perth.

Is that the one where you buy off the shelf maps to suit the mods on yours car?

What will be hard is buying an american ecu and rewiring your entire car to suit.

The COBB stuff is awesome to use (yes, have seen it first hand, no not on a wrx) but their primary market is America, so dont hold your breath for Australian support.

See these a lot on GTR's currently, had a mess around with the software and looks very good - But as TJ said.. support here is pretty much non-existant.

FYi

Hello,

That is correct, unfortunately it has to do with us having not integrated the ROMs for AUS support, as well as there not being any off the shelf maps. We are hoping to support the Australian market in the not too distant future, but I do not have a time frame as to when that will be. We just release support for the Mazda MPS in Australia recently. Our fuel is in fact different than yours, however I believe you are on the RON system whereas we are on the RON+MON/2 system. So our 93 octane is equivalent to your 98RON fuel.

Let me know if you have any questions, hopefully we will have support for your market soon.
