Default MY05 STI or MY10 WRX

Hey,

Currently in the deciding stage of what car to finally purchase, I've got it down to two options a 2004 MY05 STI & a 2010 MY10 WRX. They are both from dealers...

The 2004 STI is priced at $35,999 has done 58,000 km, full service + mod history. we manage to get them down to $30,000, I'm just a bit concerned that the price for the car is is a bit too high.

The 2010 WRX I can get for $22,000 wholesale (priced at $33,761) has done 32,000km , I haven't driven but have seen the car its in great condition and is still under Subaru warranty. Only gripe is I'm not a huge fan of this shape (except for the STI & MY11 onwards widebody...)

said WRX...

said STI...(no pictures)

My thoughts are that the 2010 WRX is a great price and I can make it back on selling the car in the future but I do love the STI shape and its was a fun car to drive but I was just concerned that the price of the STI was too high or is this normal for that type of car?

sorry for the long post.

Thanks in advanced!

Cyrus.

Buy WRX for 22k, sell for 30 tomorrow, buy sti and not stress about over pricing, especially when you offer them 28k cash
StubbsR1, Kiiz and Bug-Eyed WRX 01 like this.

Those prices make the decission a no-brainer.
If the 8yr old sti was more appropriately priced, the decission would be a little more difficult.

As everyone has said, go the MY10.
$35k for a 2004, they are on crack.
