Hahah well to be honest the main reason I'm doing this is beause i got hit with a 3.9k bill to swap my front mout to top mount and put a new clutch in and do the timing belt, now to me, if I was smart enough I could of done the intercooler myself and saved some serious coin..

Probably find the biggest labour cost was doing the clutch and timing belt. Then the cost for a new TMIC, clutch parts and belt parts.

I would probably start by reading a few books (i.e. Subaru Performance Handbook - Training WRX (3rd Edition) | Bijok, Steve) to get a general idea of what is happening, then start DIY on smaller simpler jobs.

Probably but none the less it could of been a smaller price if I knew how to do some things myself, aswell as reading that I'm just trying to find some hands on experience

You need a female to thrust your pork piston into, and out of, and into, and out of, and into and out of, and into over and over again?

Best place for a rebuild IMO.
That's where I did mine.
