anyone got any info on this scoobi donk??looks like some sort of race motor le'mans style from the 70's.

From way back when Subaru had a shot at F1 I believe.
One of the engines went up for sale on ebay about 14months ago. Would have been an interesting project to play with.

Looks like Subaru did the right thing by selling up early & sticking with rallying.

8 extra cylinders and it only made just over 500bhp....
Need some forced induction for sure!

Apparently the things where unreliable pieces of crap, and thier size was no advantage either.

Coupled with the pathetic chasis it unfortunately found a home in, the motor did not exactly set F1 on fire
