you should see how he pulled me over, he pulled up infront of my car, so i stopped, reverse, he was "tailgating" me from the front, like those ppo do in the hyundai precision driving team, nose to nose. then i stop again and he gave me a lecture about how i can run over and kill ppo going that fast.

Umm yeh, they were called Traffic Inspectors, employed by local councils but had powers conferred on them by state parliament; later became the RTA (1974) then eventually amalgamated with police around 1980.
